Preventive Maintenance

Preventive maintenance is important to ensure your equipment runs reliably. It will reduce unplanned downtime and the need for service calls. This is also a great time to resolve minor issues that may be annoying your x-ray techs.

Repairs

We service most GE lunar bone density units. This includes: DPX, DPX-NT, DPX-IQ, and Prodigy. We provide prompt service and give our customers our cell phone numbers so we can be reached at anytime if there is an issue.

Networking, DICOM, and Software Configuration

We provide full IT support for GE Lunar BD systems. We can setup and configure the system to interface with your PACS. Create new databases and repair damaged ones or recover images from a backup. We also install/repair software and setup backup plans and solutions. We can replace your aging monitor or printer.

Equipment Moving and Relocation

We have experience moving/removing/installing GE lunar Bone Density units. We can safely disassembly the unit to fit it through doorways or small hallways and reassemble it properly. The unit could be damaged if not moved correctly.

We provide service, parts, and accessories for Fuji’s line of dry laser imagers. Regardless of your issue we are here to help. We can clear film jams, correct image artifact issues, and adjust configuration settings as needed.

Annual preventive maintenance should be performed on Fuji Drypix dry laser imagers. Doing so will reduce downtime, ensure optimum image quality and prevent abnormal wear on various parts. We inspect the error log for any issues. Print QC images to verify proper film density, resolution, and layout. Clean filters and check cooling fan operation. Check various interlocks ensure the operator is safe from the laser during operation and to also ensure film is not exposed to light. Clean the conveyance rollers, cleaning roller, suction cups, SUS belt, density measurement sections, and heat development unit. Lubricate parts as need. Check for proper grounding and DC voltage. Correct date/time setting.

In addition to preventive maintenance we can perform annual QC for mammography. The inspection is comprised of four majors parts: Inspect mechanical operation (Jamming, Abnormal Sounds), Check for artifacts (banding, scratches, fog, etc), Verify geometry (length and width and location of image on film), Image recording resolution checks (Verify image is being output in fine resolution, check 50 micron resolution pattern)

We provide service for podiatry tables. We service all makes and models and can often locate and provide parts for discontinued models.

Electrical Issues

We can locate and repair electrical issues. Often times as a switch or relay begins to go various functions will work intermittently. On occasion it may also be due to a flex break in a wire from repeated movement back and forth. We can trace the electrical path and find which component is malfunctioning and replace it.

Leaks

As your chair gets older it may develop leaks. You may notice a small amount of oil/fluid around the chair which is an indication it is leaking.  Generally a slow leak is caused by a faulty cylinder and a fast leak is often times a burst hydraulic hose. Generally it is best to fix leaks sooner then later. If the oil level gets too low the chair will no longer move.

After Market Support

Model numbers 119, 319, 111, 317,117 and Ritter 75 Evolution are no longer supported by the factory. The manufacturer no longer supplies parts for them. We can usually locate after market parts or new old stock.

Tom O’Connel MS, CHO assists clients with radiation safety audits, training, industrial requests, decommissioning, shielding evaluations and general radiation safety concerns. Jim Giard does most of the surveys for X-ray units and C-arms. Mike Leal, MS handles mammography. They have three other physicists that tend to CT and Mammo.
